Wooden Architectural Icon Workshop at My ArchiSchool

The Wooden Architectural Icon Workshop, part of the Architectural Design Program 1.0 at My ArchiSchool, teaches students to create wooden scale models of iconic architectural buildings.

During this course, students build a scale wooden model of part of an architectural icon. Examples of chosen buildings include the Acropolis of Athens in Greece and the Chartres Cathedral's rose window in France.

Students learn modelling and wood carving techniques to capture historic architectural styles.

The course is suitable for students aged 11 to 18 and above. Students are required to have completed the Exhibition Program at level three or above before starting this course.

The Wooden Architectural Icon Workshop is a continuation of My ArchiSchool's three core courses. The core courses in the curriculum are Architectural Design Program 1.0, Premium Portfolio Package of Architectural Design Program 1.0 and Sustainable Architectural Design and Research Study Stage I and II.
