Taking place at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, this exhibition by Italian design duo Formafantasma will focus on the way wood is harvested and turned into products, and explore the environmental implications of the forestry industry.
The show will question "the role that design can play in translating emerging environmental awareness into informed collaborative responses."
Dezeen has partnered with the Serpentine Galleries to host a special event ahead of the opening of the exhibition. Simone Farresin and Andrea Trimarchi of Formafantasma will speak to Dezeen's chief content officer Ben Hobson about the research behind the new exhibition, which examines the use of wood as a material and its impact on the environment.
The talk is invitation only but will be live streamed on Dezeen from 5pm on 3 March.
Formafantasma: Cambio takes place from 4 March to 17 May 2020 at Serpentine Sackler Gallery, Kensington Gardens, London, England.
The Serpentine Galleries are currently closed to the public due to the coronavirus outbreak. Instead, the exhibition can be experienced online.
