This conference celebrates the 50th anniversary of the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at the University of Calgary and explores sustainable and participatory design.
The Cultures, Communities and Design conference invites participants to visit the school, the city of Calgary and the Banff Nature reserve. Architects, planners and designers who are interested in sustainable and participatory design can share their experiences, meet government officials, community representatives, professionals and academics working in this field.
"Cultures, Communities and Design is a great opportunity to showcase your work and ideas, network with others and publish videos and articles about your projects," said event organisers. Themes include sustainability, participation, planning, resilience, community design and housing.
Cultures, Communities and Design – Sustainability and Practice takes place from 28 to 30 June 2022 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and online at architecturemps.com/calgary.
