Dezeen is online media partner for Ventura Lambrate, a new design district in Milan during the Salone del Mobile next Month, and we're giving away an exhibition space in the heart of the area (marked by star, above).
The 25 sq (approx) space is in a brand new building (above ) at Via Ventura 6, which will also be occupied by innovative young exhibitors including Design Academy Eindhoven, Neils van Eijk & Miriam van der Lubbe, Frederik Roijé and Laikingland. Other exhibitors nearby include Studio Maarten Baas and Royal College of Art.
Dezeen and Ventura Lambrate are looking for a designer or group of designers who will compliment this mix of exhibitors and who would otherwise be unable to exhibit in Milan this year.

How to enter
For a chance to exhibit in this space from 14-18 April this year, please carefully follow the guidelines below. Your entry may be disqualified if the guidelines are not followed.
1. Prepare the following:
- 3-5 images of your work (jpeg format, showing both new and existing projects). Images should be no larger than 500kb each.
- Up to 3 sketches (jpeg or PDF format) showing how you would use the exhibition space. Images should be no larger than 500kb each.
- Up to 300 words of plain text to support your application and explain how you intend to use the space. Text should be pasted into the email and not sent in an attachment.
2. Send everything listed above in a single email to us at [email protected] with “Dezeen Ventura Lambrate” in the subject line, together with email, telephone and web contact details for all participants.
The competition closes at 12.00 noon UK time on Wednesday 24 March. The winner will be notified by Friday 26 March.
Important notes
The winner will be selected jointly by Dezeen and Organisation in Design. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will receive free use of the exhibition space at Via Ventura 6 and will be included in all Ventura Lambrate press material. The space has a small storage area and use of a toilet but no other amenities are provided. Electricity is available but at a small charge. The winner will need to provide lighting and all exhibition materials, as well as their own transport, food and accommodation. Please DO NOT enter this competition if you are unable to meet these obligations.
The exhibition space is available for set-up from 10 April. The space must be made good after the exhibition and left as found.
A contract setting out all the terms and conditions related to use of the space will be drawn up with the winner.
