Tent Digital competition winners

London Design Festival 09: Waggott Tripp & Graham, who created an installation where the viewer becomes the exhibit, are one of 10 designers to have won our Tent Digital competition for free exhibition space at Tent Digital during London Digital Week in September.

Tent Digital is a new exhibition of digital design, that will take place in the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane from 24-27 September this year and is Tent London's contribution to the first ever London Digital Week.

Above: The Digital Tea Party, by Audio Architecture, Creatmosphere & Shroom Studio, is an installation that explores the control of local environments through the interaction with inanimate objects.

Above: Peformative Ecologies by Ruairi Glynn is a robotic installation of light rods that learn to create improvised movements to keep the attention of their audience.

Above: MSA Visuals Ltd. interactive installation Gold explores individual stardom where the user would look into a mirror, the image would materialise into gold and eventually turn into gold dust after having been immortalised as a gold statue.

Above: Horizon by Flynn Talbot is an installation which recreates the patterns of the sky through user interaction.

Above: mv_alg_#09 by Nous Gallery and Pablo Miranda is a software which uses measurements of the movement of images received from a camera and uses this information to change the graphics on a screen.

Above: Wattson by DIY Kyoto displays how much electricity a house is using.

Above: Yoko Cage by Interactive Arts is a digital bird-cage which reproduces 3D videos of a bird using CAD software and 3D-printing.

Above: Seeper will be unveiling and exhibiting two interactive installations, one of which includes a device for storing and manipulating sounds so that multiple users can play a number of musical instruments.

Tent Digital is a new exhibition showcasing and celebrating the best of digital and digitally-enabled design at Tent London.
