We've teamed up with Design Hotels to give away five copies of Design Hotels Book 2009.

The hard-back book departs from previous editions of the yearbook, featuring the stories and images of 170 member hotels, and profiles ten founders of some of the most characterful hotels.

This competition is now closed.

Five winners will be selected at random and notified by email. Winners’ names will be published in a future edition of our Dezeenmail newsletter and at the bottom of this page. Dezeen competitions are international and entries are accepted from readers in any country.

The Design Hotels™ BOOK
In contrast to the previous editions of the Yearbook, this year’s Design Hotels™ BOOK is bigger and bolder than ever before. Totally redesigned, the book comprises stories and striking images that reveal the individual concepts behind each of the 170 portrayed member hotels. Available as a hardcover coffee-table book in either black or white, the 488-page publication groups member hotels by different experiences - signature, rare and offbeat, to help guests find the atmosphere that suits, or inspires them best.

The Design Hotels™ BOOK emphasises the faces behind the brand: the Originals. The chosen 10 individuals are shown as they really are, authentic, creative and as real as the properties they’ve brought to life. With interviews, engaging texts and striking images the book is all about the Design Hotels™ experiences!

Design Hotels™, a global hospitality company, brings under its umbrella over 175 independently owned, design-driven properties in more than 40 countries around the globe. Member hotels benefit from customized services ranging from global sales representation and reservations, to revenue & distribution management; from strategic marketing and public relations to branding; therefore receiving the exposure they need around the world while maintaining their individual identity. Conceived in 1993 by Claus Sendlinger, then a travel agent, and today its hands-on president and CEO, Design Hotels™ has its headquarters in Berlin and branches in London, Barcelona, New York, Singapore, Bali, Tokyo and Perth.
