This week on Dezeen: Renzo Piano Building Workshop released new images of its 30-storey Soho Tower in New York this week, while the firm revealed a scaled-down version of its skyscraper proposed for London.

The Italian architect's studio teased the renderings of what will be the firm's first residential project in Manhattan – an example of the high-end residential construction boom currently sweeping the city.
