Dezeen readers get 50 per cent off tickets to designjunction during London Design Festival

Dezeen promotion: designjunction – one the key exhibition spaces at this year's London Design Festival – is offering Dezeen readers a special 50 per cent discount off the cost of tickets.

Dezeen is media partner for designjunction 2017, which opens to the public tomorrow at London's King's Cross. The event will showcase products and installations from over 200 exhibitors, and host a diverse programme of talks and workshops.

Tickets retail at £15 on the door, but Dezeen readers can buy them in advance for just £7.50 using the promotional code DEZEEN.

Recently announced, this year's designjunction talks programme will follow the theme "where design meets". Speakers include prolific British designer Kenneth Grange, OMK founder Rodney Kinsman and Design Museum director Deyan Sudjic.

This year's Granary Square installations include a ceramic gateway by designer Adam Nathaniel Furman and Turkishceramics, a passageway covered in plants by flower delivery service Bloomon, and a customised narrowboat created by Eley Kishimoto and Campari.

Like last year, Cubitt House will feature a host of international design brands, including Another CountryVery Good & Proper and Lammhults, which is launching its new Penne chair.

It will also feature a pop-up workspace created by furniture company Modus and meeting space provider Breather, which will be free to use, and will be furnished with the new workspace range by PearsonLloyd.

The Canopy returns this year, with highlights including the limited-edition Splatware created by Assemble's Granby Workshop

Meanwhile The Crossing, which runs across the centre of the Central Saint Martins campus, will showcase the finalists in the first Rado Star Prize UK competition and a bespoke chandelier by two French studios Blackbody and Haviland.

Cubitt Park is a new area for 2017, featuring an "interactive cafe"

The Cubitt Park area is new for this year, and will feature an "interactive cafe". Visitors will be able to participate in live-screen printing, adding colour and pattern to the space and walls of the space.

Designjunction takes place from 21 to 24 September 2017 as part of the London Design Festival.
