Anish Kapoor explores "urgent times" with Destierro installation
Anish Kapoor has transformed a room into a bright red landscape in his first solo exhibition at the Parque de la Memoria in Argentina.
The installation, entitled Destierro, comprised of 100 tonnes of earth sprayed with red pigment and a blue painted tractor. The installation explores the displacement of the victims of the military regime that ruled Argentina from 1976-1983 and the "new geography" created by the international refugee crisis.
