Australia's first purpose-built pride centre was unveiled in Melbourne. The Victorian Pride Centre is a five-story building dedicated to offering LGBTQ+ communities a number of services and safe spaces.

L-shaped in plan, the centre incorporates tubular openings across its facade, which grow taller as its volumes stagger further from the street.

Commenters are conflicted. One commenter stated that "representation in the built environment matters" while another found its design "disjointed".
