Dezeen Showroom: furniture maker De Vorm has released a large felt acoustic lamp made from recycled PET felt, which provides settings with noise-dampening qualities.
The Fost Large acoustic lamp has a 118-centimetre-diametre domed lampshade and a spheric LED light designed to offer a sleek and modern look.
De Vorm created the lamp with a large, oversized shape to make a visual statement in offices, public spaces and conference rooms.
Fost Large provides its settings with sound-absorbing qualities due to its felt construction, an additional benefit for any spaces that may typically be loud.
It is available in 11 different felt colour blends made from recycled materials, including grey, brown, pink and yellow.
