Dezeen Debate features "ambitious" green hotel in Singapore

The latest edition of our Dezeen Debate newsletter features a "garden hotel" in Singapore designed by architecture studio WOHA. Subscribe to Dezeen Debate now.

WOHA completed a hotel in Singapore featuring pool terraces that are covered in planting to encourage visitors to observe nature.

Each terrace was wrapped on two sides by guest rooms in six-storey blocks and has a different theme.

Commenters were fascinated by the hotel. One described it as "a piece of Las Vegas in downtown Singapore". Whilst another thought the project was "ambitious", they also questioned whether it might be "a bit too arbitrary".
