Thanks to everyone who entered Dezeen Awards 2026, in partnership with Trimble! We have received over 4,300 entries across 49 categories from all around the world.
Entries came from 91 countries across six continents, including the United States, Australia, China, India and Italy. We also received entries from Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, South Korea and Thailand.
Two-thirds of our entries came from smaller practices with 10 employees or fewer, again proving that Dezeen Awards is one of the most accessible award programmes and ensuring that smaller and emerging studios have a platform to showcase their work.
Dezeen Awards 2026 closed for entries earlier this week. We've briefly outlined what's happening over the next few months below, so read on to find out more.
Regional Showcases
Dezeen's editors will select the best projects for inclusion in the Regional Showcases. The trio of Top 50 lists will be published on Dezeen and across our social media channels in early September, ahead of our shortlist announcements. We'll be in touch then to let you know if you've been recognised as best-in-class in our Regional Showcases!

Shortlisting
The shortlisting stage of the judging process will take place in August. Our 60 industry-leading judges will select a shortlist of five entries in each project category.
We'll be announcing all shortlisted projects on Dezeen in late September and we'll be in touch then to let you know if you've been shortlisted. Each shortlisted entry gets its own page on the Dezeen Awards website, which is viewed two million times a year!
Master jury day
A selection of judges will convene in September to finalise the 49 category winners, as well as determine the prestigious overall Project of the Year winners from the architecture, interiors and design categories, ready for the reveal at the annual Dezeen Awards party in November.

Public vote
This year we'll be running a public vote! In early October, our readers will be asked to vote for their favourite project, with winners announced later in the month on Dezeen and across our social media channels.

Winners announcements
Save the date! Winners will be announced at the Dezeen Awards party in London on 16 November. The party will be a chance for everyone who entered this year's Dezeen Awards to celebrate their achievements with fellow nominees and winners, as well as our illustrious Dezeen Awards judges. It will be held in London and include food, drinks and music, plus Dezeen Awards winners will be able to collect their trophies and certificates.
