Dezeen Awards Regional Showcases
An exciting addition to Dezeen Awards 2026 will be our Regional Showcases, three Top 50 lists that will celebrate the best projects in three regions:
Top 50: Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Top 50: Asia Pacific (APAC)
Top 50: The Americas (AMER)
Every project entered into this year's awards can also be entered into the Regional Showcases for a small additional fee. Your work will automatically be entered into the relevant Top 50 list, however, you can opt out if you do not want your project to be considered for the honour. Eligibility will be determined by the project location for architecture and interiors projects, and the studio location for design projects.
Our world-renowned judges will continue to choose the winners of the main Dezeen Awards categories, while Dezeen's editors will select the best projects for inclusion in the Regional Showcases. The trio of Top 50 lists will be published on Dezeen and across our social media channels in September, ahead of our shortlist announcements. Studios with projects that make the list will receive marketing materials with which to promote themselves.
Public vote
This year we'll be running a public vote! Our shortlists are announced in September and in early to mid October our readers will be asked to vote for their favourite project. We'll announce the public vote winners on Dezeen and across our social media channels ahead of the Dezeen Awards party in November.
Winners will receive marketing materials with which to promote themselves and receive a certificate.
Sustainability categories
We believe that every project should be assessed with sustainability in mind, hence one of our three judging criteria is beneficial. For every entry, we ask if your project is useful and considerate to both people and planet and how it shows respect and consideration for users and the environment.
However there are projects that go above and beyond and lead the way as exemplars. We continue to support and champion these projects with our five sustainability categories, which are sustainable building, sustainable renovation, sustainable interior, sustainable design and material innovation. These can now be found within our architecture, interiors and design sectors.
