Rune & Berg Design has designed the Heymo 1 Hotel in Espoo, Finland.

"Heymo challenges the conventional hotel and offers a community-driven, urban and bold experience that is all about loving life," said Rune & Berg Design.

Heymo is an entirely new hotel concept in Finland — primarily automated, but the design puts people first – the name Heymo refers to the Finnish word for "tribe".

Vibrant shared spaces in the lobby bring people together, while the rooms focus on sleep and relaxation. Flexible Service is the key concept — you pay only for what you need.

Heymo represents intuitive and minimalist design with a focus on sustainability and inclusiveness.

This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
