Alted Materials has designed Alted H01 Collection, a series of waste-based, sustainable interior panels.

Alted H01 is a series of decorative wall and ceiling panels suitable for interior use that aims to improve the sustainability profile of the built environment.

Alted Materials claims the Alted H01 panels are waste-based, plant-based, non-toxic, 100 per cent recyclable in the same loop, and they have a low embodied carbon profile.

This ecological character is accomplished mostly by the combination of its primary raw materials: the HONEXT® board, made from cellulose waste from the paper industry and the Iridea Bio coating, which is water-based and made up to 75 per cent of bio-resins derived from waste vegetable matter unfit for human consumption.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable design (building product) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
