All Studio has designed Yiwu Chian Wutong Yard in Yiwu, China.

The Wutong Yard project is located at the entrance of Shentang Village, Yiwu, consisting of a concrete structure building and three ancillary buildings that maintain a distant relationship with the local village.

As a landmark building at the entrance of the village, the project has witnessed the changes in the village's century-old history and carries the memories of several generations of villagers.

The design attempts to establish a mechanism that continuously guides people to establish a relationship with the Wutong Tree Courtyard and the surrounding landscape.

"We hope that through this mechanism, we can create participants’ experiences and transform spatial memory and stock," said All Studio.

This project has been shortlisted in the civic project category of Dezeen Awards China 2023.
