Outlooker Design has redesigned the interiors for the Z&S House in Hangzhou, China.

For this project, Outlooker Design wanted to explore the possibility of high-quality communication through spatial layout and the creation of contemporary sculpture art.

"At the client's home, friends often come for gatherings," said Outlooker Design. "We wanted to design a unique bar that would become a social hub."

The suspended sculpture in front of the window on the other side has a built-in projection screen, where visitors can sit anywhere in the bar or wider living space.

"In order to increase the texture of the interior[s], we used outdoor hand-painted paint on the interior facade to make it look more natural," added Outlooker Design.

This project has been shortlisted in the home interior category of Dezeen Awards China 2023.
