From power tools to parachutes, footwear to furniture, backpacks to bikes or inhalers to interfaces. Here at UC, Industrial Product Design students use cutting-edge tools, techniques and materials, to take on the challenges of the present while preparing us for our future.

This innovation-driven degree will equip you for a modern and creative career path on an international basis, with our multi-disciplinary approach to design. You will develop a solid foundation of critical-thinking within a structured and universal design-process that is highly human-centric.

Throughout this journey you will learn essential design skills such as hands-on primary research-methods and analysis, problem-solving and ideation techniques, design-sketching tricks and computer-aided visualisation (CAD).

Students also develop a practical understanding of contemporary material science and manufacture, engineering, business, marketing and commercialisation.

This is a three-year degree program with the additional option for conjoint study, which is tailored to your own personal career ambitions.
