During Milan design week 2025, Amsterdam-based design duo Rive Roshan presents Chiaroscuro: A Light in the Darkness, a multisensory installation.

The installation invites visitors to contemplate the question "where do we turn for strength and connection in challenging moments?".

Developed in collaboration with a team of contributing artists, the centrepiece of the exhibition is a design performance that combines newly developed glass works with a custom light choreography and an original soundscape.

The score samples sounds from the team’s everyday environments and features vocals reminiscent of the Persian lullabies that cofounder Golnar Roshan grew up with.

Chiaroscuro: A Light in the Darkness takes place from 7 to 13 April 2025 at Via Cesare Correnti 14, 20123 Milan, Italy.
