Design agency Morrama has curated an industrial design-focused exhibition for the 2025 edition of London Design Festival 2025.

The exhibition explores materiality and biodesign, demonstrating materials in five states: natural substrate (organic matter pre-processing), pelletised, formed sample, decomposing sample and fully decomposed sample.

Alongside the exhibition, Morrama's founder Jo Barnard is in discussion with Dezeen editorial director Max Fraser on 18 September.

From the Ground Up takes place from 16 to 20 September 2025 at Hackney Depot, 5 Sheep Lane, London E8 4QS, UK.
