Tederic International Center
Milanesi | Paiusco has designed the Tederic International Centrer, an office headquarters and industrial building complex in Hangzhou City, China.
Located in Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Tederic International Center brings together a world-class cluster of innovative manufacturing industries.
The campus comprises a headquarters, two office buildings and a smart factory, which integrates various functions, including office spaces, hotels and commercial facilities, capable of accommodating thousands of people for work and daily life.
The design was inspired by one of the core components of manufacturing – the electric motor. The headquarters is connected to the smart factory through the Tederic Orange (the brand colour) bridge, symbolising a continuous flow of energy.
The factory's form and the interplay of light and shadow resemble a battery, powering the perpetual operation of the manufacturing system.
The core vision of the project was to create a pioneering manufacturing landmark that goes beyond formality, shaping a new identity for the industry.
This project has been shortlisted in the office and industrial project category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
