Loft Portable Lamp
Shanghai Shiyinshixian Cultural Media has designed the Loft Portable Lamp.
The Loft Portable is the first lamp product designed for the lighting brand Illuvia, officially launched in June 2025.
As its name suggests, Loft draws inspiration from the traditional loft structures found in Eastern architecture.
Utilising new materials to convey the minimalism and subtlety of contemporary Eastern aesthetics, we construct a miniature loft of light within the living space.
The designer employs minimalist metal lines as the structural frame, paired with a specially developed sprayed-on TPU polymer that is both flexible and resilient.
The result is a portable lamp that resembles a miniature architectural form – minimalist yet bold – bringing a poetic expression of architectural aesthetics into everyday living spaces..
This project has been shortlisted in the product design category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
