Gempot
Projject has designed the interiors of Gempot, a restaurant in Aranya, China.
Gempot is located at Anaya's new community on the north shore; the building sits on the expansive riverbank facing a serene water view.
Contrary to the vibrant street scenarios, a collection of 12 white, minimal and contemporary low-rise buildings is arranged in an artful way, where one of the buildings hosts the Gempot restaurant.
"Visitors can wander through the narrow streets between the buildings, just as if walking inside a mysterious 'curio box'," said Projject.
Gempot is a carefully concealed gem within one of the boxes, with only glimpses of its intriguing architectural details visible from certain angles of the walkway.
"As visitors finally arrive at the restaurant, a delightful culinary experience awaits inside," added Projject.
This project has been shortlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
