UnderRoof Shanghai was established in Shanghai in 2023, specializing in projects such as cultural tourism landscape, resort hotels, and retail spaces. The overall spatial form by the studio is simple, yet generates a sense of natural tranquility through precise handling of spatial planning, light and shadow manipulation, color proportions, and material relationships. This effortless simplicity stems from the designers' meticulous consideration and iterative refinement of multiple factors.
Recent projects include Home of Silence in Jilin and Mandarin Oriental in Nanjing.
