Benwu Studio
Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards China 2025 designer of the year, New York City-based design studio Benwu Studio.
Benwu Studio was founded in New York City in 2012 by Chinese designers Hongchao Wang and Pengyou. This year, Benwu presented its 10th-anniversary retrospective at Milan Design Week, showcasing its comprehensive capabilities spanning limited-edition items, products, interiors, architecture, brand strategy, and exhibition design. Its exceptionally broad scope positions it as one of China's few design firms with such outstanding all-around expertise.
Recent projects include Atrium Lighting Series and Takara Standard × TAKUMIKOU | Xiyingmen Flagship Store.
This studio has been shortlisted in the designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
