Bentu is an independent design brand founded in 2011.They are engaged in product design and innovation, combining design with manufacture. They're an experimental, explorative, and cross-over team. Their design creates products that meet daily needs. Through a series of experiments and exploration, each material used in their design is returned to its nature by revealing its original texture.
Recent projects include recycled shoe rubber stool series and the arts bridge space in Shanghai.
This studio has been shortlisted in the designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
