Annual festival DesignMarch hosts its 18th edition over five days, offering a programme of exhibitions, talks and workshops.

The 2026 edition follows the theme Connections, addressing human connectivity, city networks and communities.

The festival explores a range of design disciplines, including furniture, interior accessories, textiles, fashion, jewellery, and landscape, graphic and product design.

An event highlight is the DesignTalks conference, which takes place on 6 May at the Harpa concert hall.

Speakers include graphic designers Stefan Sagmeister and Hjalti Karlsson, architect Dorte Mandrup, and Arnar Már Jónsson and Luke Stevens of design studio Ranra.

DesignMarch 2026 takes place from 6 to 10 May 2026 at various locations across Reykjavík, Iceland.
