Surfaces company Cosentino has partnered with Dubai-based design firm Etereo to present 1930 at Dubai Design Week's Downtown Design.

1930 is a lounge installation informed by Art Deco speakeasies, featuring geometric patterns using Cosentino's Silestone, Dekton and Sensa flooring surfaces, as well as bespoke furniture.

The space features a bar, piano lounge, games table, salon and bathroom in the brand's Jardin Emerald, Romantic Ash, Victorian Silver and Nahoa colours, along with the printed Dekton iD flooring.

The installation takes inspiration from the works of Italian architects Piero Portaluppi, Carlo Scarpa and Ettore Sottsass.
