2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Melbourne Design Week, which returns with exhibitions, workshops, talks, tours and product launches.

Presented by the National Gallery of Victoria, the event continues with the theme Design the world you want, encouraging participants to consider designs that shape their future environments.

More than 400 events are taking place during this year's festival, including keynote talks by interior designers Mary Featherston and David Flack, architect Tom Kundig and artist Shunji Yamanaka.

Melbourne Design Week 2026 takes place from 14 to 24 May 2026 at various locations across Melbourne, Australia.
