The inaugural edition of Alter. Tokyo takes place in 2025, spotlighting product design from emerging Japanese creators over three days.

56 designers have collaborated to create 11 projects, selected by a committee featuring design studio Formafantasma and representatives from the MoMA and Centre Pompidou.

Alongside the main exhibition, the event features a showcase of work following a design programme for teenagers, as well as a series of talks and a market.

Alter. 2025, Tokyo takes place from 7 to 9 November 2025 at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall, 2 Chome-2-1 Nihonbashimuromachi, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0022, Japan.
