The National Pavilion UAE, which creates pavilions at the Venice Art and Architecture Biennales, presents Pressure Cooker during Dubai Design Week.

Originally curated by architect Azza Aboualam for the 2025 edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale, this version of the exhibition at Dubai Design Week embodies a different take on the research project’s outcome: contextual greenhouse assemblies addressing issues of food security.

The pavilion serves as a greenhouse and communal space, exploring the dynamic between food production and architecture, demonstrating how social spaces and food cultivation can integrate.

Pressure Cooker takes place from 4 to 9 November 2025 at Dubai Design District (d3), Dubai, UAE.
