The International Union of Architects (UIA) hosts the 29th edition of the World Congress of Architects in 2026, this year located in Barcelona.

The conference follows the theme Becoming. Architectures for a Planet in Transition, with talks, debates, round tables, an exhibition and workshops all exploring the role of architecture in a changing and adapting future.

The event is expected to welcome over 10,000 professionals, academics and students.

UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 takes place from 28 June to 2 July 2026 at various locations across Barcelona, Spain.
