The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion programme at Domus Academy encourages students to experiment with materials, digital tools and production techniques to create a complete collection by the end of the course.

The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design course encompasses the multifaceted and evolving fashion design system, preparing students to create clothing and accessories collections, develop strategies and marketing plans for fashion and luxury businesses and gain experience in fashion product development.

Adopting a methodology that encompasses comprehensive research, concept development and project execution, the programme aims to boost creativity, cultivate innovation and emphasise craftsmanship and originality, culminating in the creation of a complete clothing collection as the final achievement.

The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design programme is structured to support specialisation tracks by incorporating selected common modules that provide a foundational context for all students.

Students will be able to choose one of the following paths: Textile and Accessory Design, Fashion and Luxury Management or Fashion Product Development.

The learning methodology includes lessons, workshops, labs, boot camps, critical thinking sessions, internships, a thesis workshop and a final project.

What are the requirements?

– A minimum of 12 years of prior education
– A valid secondary school diploma that meets the requirements for entry into an Italian university
– Depending on the country where they completed their secondary education, applicants may also need to have passed a national test or final exam required for higher education
– An English language certificate, such as IELTS Academic or General, with a minimum score of 5.0
