The David R. Ravin School of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte presents First Matter: Alchemies of a Post-Digital Era, a symposium exploring the use of technology in the architecture, design, engineering and construction fields.

Keynote speakers include Kavita and Krishna Bharat professor at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University, Andrew Witt; architect and co-director of Ruy Klein, Karel Klein; and director and co-founder of Matter Design, Brandon Clifford.

Topics include materiality, artificial intelligence (AI) and computed imagery.
