Chinese furniture brand Jifang showcases its pieces as part of the group exhibition named Square 2026 during the 2026 edition of Milan design week.
The brand debuts a collection of contemporary furniture using high-quality wood that incorporates traditional Eastern aesthetics.
The FU Armchair, designed by Chinese industrial designer and creative director of Square 2026, Sean Yo-Yo, translates the form of the Fujian mountains into the soft curves and the unconventional joints of a traditionally-crafted product.
The brand also introduces a new collection developed with American designer Nicholas Baker, which uses generative AI to explore the relationship between wood and everyday life.
Jifang Wood at Square 2026 takes place from 20 to 26 April 2026 at Caselli 11–12, Piazzale Principessa Clotilde 11, 20121 Milan, Italy.
