The sixth edition of Timișoara Architecture Biennial follows the theme In Practice – as opposed to ‘in theory’, exploring direct intervention in urban development.

This edition of the festival is curated by architects Andreas Kofler and Tudor Vlăsceanu and takes place at a former school, reactivating the building's purpose.

The festival seeks to create a functioning laboratory in the space that will continue to be in use once the event has ended.

Timișoara Architecture Biennial 2026 takes place from 4 September to 25 October 2026 at Ion Mincu Technical College, Strada Gheorghe Lazăr 16, Timișoara, Romania.
