AI for Urban Regeneration at YACademy

The AI for Urban Regeneration course at YACademy trains students in integrating AI into architecture, with industry insights from firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects and Foster + Partners.

The course provides students with an up-to-date overview of the possibilities offered by AI, exploring its practical applications in urban regeneration processes.

The design workshop is tutored by Luca Bussolino, Partner-in-Charge/Head of Strategy and Innovation at Carlo Ratti Associati, and will explore the role of artificial intelligence as a tool to analyse, interpret and design the city.

Developed in collaboration with Urban Up | Unipol, the workshop will focus on the Missaglia district in Milan, an emblematic example of the transformations and challenges of contemporary suburbs.

With a frequency of three days per week for two months, AI for Urban Regeneration hosts several frontal teaching modules with the participation of numerous well-known professionals working at world-renowned companies, including Zaha Hadid Architects, Foster + Partners, Herzog & de Meuron, MAD Architects and UNS.

Believing that construction is a fundamental step in architecture, Yacademy offers its students the opportunity to participate in a construction workshop, gaining practical experience on construction sites, and the authorship of projects capable of defining a turning point in their professional career.

At the end of the teaching modules and workshops, Yacademy's placement office will guarantee every student an internship or collaboration proposal in one of its partner firms.

The course offers multiple scholarships for the most deserving students. It is also possible to participate in the course remotely.
