The Università Iuav di Venezia is working with a series of global academic institutions – including the New York Institute of Technology's (NYIT) School of Architecture and Design – to host Wave 2026, a workshop programme for architecture and design theories and projects.

This year's programme follows the theme Balance. Different Types of Equilibrium, exploring architecture as a means of restoring balance in a "fragmented and unstable world".

Wave 2026 takes place from 1 to 17 July 2026 at the Venetian Cotton Mill, Dorsoduro 2196, 30123 Venice, Italy.
