2027 marks the 20th edition of Venice Architecture Biennale, which follows the theme Do Architecture — For the Possibility of Coexistence Facing a Real Reality.

The theme was set by curators Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu, founders of Amateur Architecture Studio and asks participants to consider the importance of taking an active role in preventing damage in the climate change crisis.

During the festival, global studios and practices are showcasing pavilions that represent their nation, on display for seven months.

Venice Architecture Biennale 2027 takes place from 8 May to 21 November 2027 at various locations across Venice, Italy.
