Dezeen Showroom: Philippine design brand Reforma and designers Eri and Mikka Mangaran aimed to soften sharp lines in the home with their arch-informed Arcos table collection.
The duo took the arch as a starting point for the solid wood Arcos tables, using them to inform the relationship between support and surface and playing with proportion and presence.

Their goal was that the Arcos tables would provide a measured counterpoint to the linear geometries of everyday spaces, helping to soften angles and putting a new spin on familiar elements.
“Most interiors are ordered by straight lines, planes and right angles,” said Reforma.
“Arcos introduces a different geometry within that order: its curves temper the rigidity of the surrounding space without losing clarity or structure.”

The range includes coffee tables, side tables and larger tables, designed for adaptability with Reforma’s Multiway System, where objects are imagined as modular units that can evolve alongside changing homes, workplaces and hospitality spaces.
The larger table is intended to serve equally well as a dining table, meeting table or work surface.
They can be ordered in white oak or walnut wood, allowing a choice between light warmth or greater visual weight.
