Claire is awards and events director at Dezeen and is part of Dezeen's senior leadership team.

She joined Dezeen in 2022 and oversees Dezeen's annual awards programmes, Dezeen Awards and Dezeen Awards China, as well as the company's wider awards and events initiatives. In 2023, she and her team won event of the year and commercial partnership of the year at the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) awards.

Previously she was a director at London-based PR agency, specialising in architecture and design. Her experience includes programming and delivering large talks programmes for the RIBA, 100% Design and the World Interiors Festival, where she was launch programme director. Prior to this, she was Associate editor at Elle Decoration and editor at Grand Designs Magazine, and also frequently wrote for numerous publications including The Guardian, Icon, RIBA Journal and Architects' Journal.

She holds a degree in the history of art and architecture, and a masters from the RCA in Curating Contemporary Art.
