Richard Murphy is a Scottish architect who has built numerous projects including his own house in Edinburgh, which was the winner of the 2016 RIBA House and the first Maggie's Centre, which was nominated for the 1997 Stirling Prize. He is the co-author of An Architect's Appreciation of Charles Rennie Mackintosh along with several books on Carlo Scarpa including Carlo Scarpa and Castelvecchio Revisited, which was published in October 2017.
