Patcharada Inplang and Thongchai Chansamak

Patcharada Inplang and Thongchai Chansamak are the founders of Thai architecture practice Sher Maker Studio.

The studio aims to drive the potential of small, local construction companies under capitalist conditions that occupy the design world. This goal is reached by developing projects that start with experimentation and research in collaboration with these small companies, combined with an investigation of cultural and natural contexts.

Both Inplang and Chansamak graduated their respective universities with a Bachelor's Degree in architecture, before pursing their careers in the design industry working for companies including Supermachine Studio and Studiomake.

Sher Maker Studio has a strong focus on the rooted processes and meaning behind architectural methods, whilst pursuing designs that consider the dimensional, spatial and ergonomic elements of a space. The studio has had work featured in Bangkok Design Weeks 2022 and Chiangmai Design Week 2020. Whilst also collaborating on projects with Housescape design lab and Ease studio.
