Liz McGreevy and Matt Roche has designed Re_Threads in London, United Kingdom.

This project was born during the depths of the pandemic, with a limited budget and the need to be self-funded from day one until the present. Re_Threads was created to realise untapped potential by turning profit into purpose and to build a legacy.

"These challenges were overcome, by our singular and binding belief that we could do good and change the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society, added founders, Liz McGreevy and Matt Roche. "We are here to create opportunities for young people in the care system to gain meaningful work experience within a fashion environment."

Re_Threads has built social and environmental value at the heart of everything it does and with this in mind, is looking to tackle sustainability within the workwear sector by bringing style, social value and sustainability to the fore.

This project has been longlisted in the wearable design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
