Atelier Global has designed the 'Knowledge Oasis brimming with vitality' for the Shenzhen Middle School, Guangming Science City School in Shenzhen, China.
In the holistic design of Shenzhen Middle School Guangming Science City School, Aterlier Global prioritised the student experience, envisioning an urban forest transformed into a vibrant 'Knowledge Oasis' – a future-oriented, international campus that harmonises ecology, openness, humanity and innovation through layered terraces.
Guided by green and humanistic design principles, the campus layout fosters environmental awareness, communication and interaction, cultivating well-rounded talents while providing a sustainable space for the future of education.
"The client envisioned a pioneering educational facility for the new era, a vibrant 'Knowledge Oasis' where student experience takes centre stage," said Atelier Global.
Organised around pedagogical functions, the design creates multidimensional activity spaces within a fluid architectural form that pulses with vitality.
This project has been shortlisted in the education project category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
