Funs Creative Design Consultant has designed the interiors of Alan Hotel in Jinghong City, China.
By the Lancang River, Alan Hotel is nestled in the embrace of mountains and water, far removed from the noise of the city.
Here, nature extends its touch, leading guests into a realm of tranquillity and seclusion, where the mysteries of the rainforest unfold and one finds solace amid misty peaks and serene lakes.
"Inspired by the purity of the landscape, we craft a minimalist yet poetic sanctuary – one that allows those who dwell within to dissolve into the essence of nature, shedding the weight of the material world," said Funs.
"Here, the self is returned to its quiet, unburdened state – balanced, still and at peace."
Drifting beyond the ordinary, visitors can find solace in the embrace of the clouds; leaving the dust of the world behind, the spirit seeks wisdom in the untamed wilderness.
This project has been shortlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
