Anadu Pine Villa
Studio8 Architects has designed the interiors of the Anadu Pine Villa, as part of the 'Private Journey in the Pinery Valley' vision in Zhejiang, China.
Pine Villa is a boutique homestay nestled in a valley within Zhejiang Province, comprising a wine room and three independent panoramic guest rooms.
The architectural design harmonises with the natural terrain, coexisting seamlessly with the surrounding pine forest.
Materials such as exposed concrete, carbonised wood and indigenous plants are employed to highlight the integration of local characteristics with nature.
The interior design features a fair-faced concrete structure complemented by walnut wood furnishings, handcrafted brick walls and expansive floor-to-ceiling glass panels, creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and transparency conducive to a restful retreat.
With its 270-degree panoramic views, sunken hot spring pool and floating terrace, Pine Villa offers guests an immersive natural experience, providing a minimalist yet sensorially rich vacation environment.
This project has been shortlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
