Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards China 2025 architect of the year, Shanghai-based architecture studio Kokaistudios.
Kokaistudios was founded in 2000 by Italian architects Filippo Gabbiani and Andrea Destefanis and has been headquartered in Shanghai since 2002. Focusing on developing projects in culture, commerce, hospitality, and retail, with broader involvement in urban renewal and cultural heritage revitalization initiatives, they aim to inject vibrant energy into the cities where these projects are located.
Recent projects include Shaoxing Place by MixC and Silk Lakehouse Shangri-La in Hangzhou.
This studio has been shortlisted in the architect of the year category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
