Winner: Mixed-use project of the year 2025. Kokaistudios, in collaboration with CR Land and many others, has designed Shaoxing Place by MixC, a mixed-use project in Shaoxing, China.
Located in the heart of Shaoxing's ancient city, Shaoxing Place by MixC adopts a "blocks + mall" commercial model, merging the historical legacy of the former 871 Chip Factory with its valuable industrial memory.

This project aspires to establish itself as a dynamic urban hub, combining dining, culture, entertainment and retail, revitalising the commercial and lifestyle ambience of the ancient city.

The design reorganises circulation and public spaces to activate interaction between the industrial heritage and new additions, strengthening the overall sense of place.
